This table shows average annual prices of fourteen items from 1800 onwards. The average price refers to a selected unit that can be found in the notes to the articles. The quality of some products has changed over the years. The purpose of the table is to show the price of common products and to provide insight into the average price in that year. The Explanatory Notes to the Articles describe any changes.
Data available from 1800 to 2018.
