Porto Metropolitan Bird Observations — Extended Survey — Part 2 of 2

Other parts: • Part 1: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.21069159 This dataset contains six months of bird observation records collected at five sites across the Porto metropolitan area, Portugal, from January to June 2026. The main table provides individual observation records with a unique observation identifier, local ISO 8601 timestamp, common and scientific species names, site identifier, individual count, anonymised observer identifier, and detection mode (seen, heard, or seen+heard). Supporting files include site and species reference tables, a data dictionary, and summary CSV files with monthly species counts and site-level species richness. Counts are integer values representing the number of individuals recorded per sighting, and the dataset documents urban and peri-urban bird communities surveyed using timed point counts during morning hours.
