Redlands, June --- Dr. Roy L. Anderson, presents 2 checks for total of $400 to David Norcross, state director of Heifers for Relief, as the Rev. Oscar Newby of Santa Maria, looks on. This occurred during Southern California - Arizona Methodist Church Conference convention at Redlands University. Checks represented $200 donations from El Segundo Community Methodist Church Sunday School and $200 donations form the Church Adult Two in the class. Rev. Newby has spearheaded HFR movements in Santa Maria Valley to get heifers donated and a carload is being shipped from New York to Bremen, Germany, in July.
