资源简介:
"Investigators with Brockington and Associates, Inc.,
conducted an intensive cultural resources survey of the proposed
Hampton Regional Medical Center (RMC) Tract in Hampton County,
South Carolina, on 4 November 2005 as requested by WPC, Inc. The
survey examined an area proposed for the expansion of the Hampton
Regional Medical Center. ...
...The cultural resources survey of the Hampton RMC Tract included background research, architectural survey, and archaeological survey. ...Background research conducted by the Architectural Historian resulted in the identification of several previously recorded historic properties within one mile of the project tract. There are no previously identified archaeological sites or historic properties in or adjacent to the project tract. The Architectural Historian surveyed one architectural resource (resource 0044) adjacent to the project tract; we recommend resource 0044 not eligible for the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). ...The cultural resources survey of the Hampton RMC Tract revealed no evidence of archaeological sites. The proposed development of the tract as currently planned will not affect any cultural resources. The tract warrants no further management consideration with respect to cultural resources. A detailed description of the methods employed and the results of the survey follow."
