Brat za brata Facebook posts, 2021–2023

This dataset contains 2,069 Facebook posts published by the Slovak pro-Kremlin biker group Brat za brata between 24 February 2021 and 24 February 2023. The period covers one year before and one year after Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, allowing comparison of the group’s communication before and after this geopolitical rupture. The dataset includes the post creation date, original post text, word count, thematic classification, binary variables for twelve thematic categories, and publicly available engagement metrics, including comments, reactions, shares, and views. The thematic categories cover memory politics, Russia and Russkiy Mir, Slavic brotherhood, nationalism and traditional values, anti-Western/NATO/EU narratives, war and geopolitics, charity and solidarity, biker identity, mobilisation and outreach, network ties and proxy media, motivational and value-based content, and anti-establishment or domestic political rhetoric.
