Please note: this data set is not exhaustive on the New Aquitaine perimeter, it concerns the perimeter of the former Poitou-Charentes region. Restoring the ecological continuity of rivers is an essential element for the recovery of aquatic biodiversity. It is mainly impacted by transverse structures such as thresholds and dams, the most impacting of which are referenced in this layer. An action plan for the restoration of the ecological continuity of rivers sets out a target of approximately 1500 works to be processed by 2015.
