Taking F. oxysporum, the dominant strain of soybean root rot, as the target pathogen, a biocontrol bacterium with good antifungal effect on F. oxysporum was isolated and screened from soybean rhizosphere soil. According to morphology, physiological and biochemical reaction, molecular biological identification and phylogenetic tree analysis, the biocontrol bacterium was identified as Bacillus velezensis and named BVE7.The biocontrol bacteria Bve7 had good antagonistic effects against a variety of pathogens causing soybean root rot by confrontation method.
