TRAgEDy data and code: Water depletion can generate contrasting root allocation responses to belowground competition

This repository contains the data and R code supporting the analyses presented in the manuscript “Water depletion can generate contrasting root allocation responses to belowground competition”. The dataset includes the experimental measurements used to quantify plant biomass allocation under different levels of soil resource depletion, together with the variables required to reproduce the statistical analyses and figures reported in the manuscript. Column names, units, and treatment definitions are described in the following list. The analysis scripts reproduce the data processing, statistical models, model comparisons, and graphical outputs used in the study.
