Simple download service (Atom) of the dataset: Flooding areas outside the PPRI Regulatory Areas in the Department of Vienna

The flood zone atlas (AZI) of the department of Vienna represents the envelope areas of all known floods, either by modelling or by field observation.

This atlas was carried out using two methods (specified in the attributes):
— hydrogeomorphological, based on a representation of the major stream bed, deterministic method only reflecting the extent of the flooding zone for secondary streams,
— hydraulic, based on the centennial reference flood or the highest known waters (PHEC) when they are higher, probabilistic approach to other streams.

This data is intended to inform citizens and decision-makers about the risk of flooding. It has no regulatory scope and cannot be a substitute for a planning document or a Risk Prevention Plan (RPP). Nevertheless, it allows citizens and officials, elected or administrative, to better appreciate the extent of areas that pose a significant flood risk or promote water sprawl. It is a tool for information and decision-making. It cannot be ignored in particular when drawing up urban planning documents and explaining them.

维也纳行政部门的洪水区域图集（AZI）收录了所有通过建模或实地观测得到的已知洪水包络范围。

本图集采用两种方法编制（具体方法详见属性字段）：
— 水文地貌法：基于主河道的表征结果，该确定性方法仅可反映次级河道的洪水区域范围；
— 水力学法：以百年一遇基准洪水或已知最高水位（PHEC，若该值更高则优先采用）为依据，针对其余河道则采用概率分析方法。

本数据集旨在向市民与决策者传递洪水风险相关信息。其不具备法规效力，亦不可替代规划文件或风险预防计划（Risk Prevention Plan，RPP）。尽管如此，该图集可帮助市民、当选官员及行政人员更好地认知存在显著洪水风险或易发生洪水漫溢的区域范围。本图集属于信息与决策辅助工具，尤其在编制城市规划文件并进行阐释时，其作用不容忽视。
