Lysinibacillus varians GY32 was isolated from river sediment of electronic waste recycling site. Its invariably filament-to-rod cell cycle represents a novel bacteria morphogenesis that is crucial in understanding cell division coordination with lifecycle and environmental bacteria adaptation.
