Neighborhood Quality Code Enforcement Cases

This dataset provides data from the Norfolk Division of Neighborhood Quality’s code enforcement cases including associated inspections, violations and status. The mission of the Division of Neighborhood Quality is to maintain and strengthen neighborhood standards. Staff use a variety of tools to achieve compliance including educating civic leagues, residents and the public about neighborhood quality. Other tools include working with homeowners to establish timelines for projects or pursuing legal steps for abatement. This data reflects the workflow of a responsive customer-oriented organization.
