Effects of OADS on gut microbiota in rats with type 2 diabetes mellitus

The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of SADI-S on the gut microbiota in rats with T2DM.SADI-S significantly improved glucose metabolism and decreased the species richness and diversity of the gut microbiota.SADI-S significantly increased abundances of phyla Proteobacteria, Verrucomicrobiota, and Actinomycetota and reduced those of Bacteroidota.
