RNA sequencing to study the molecular relationships between temperature, aging, and OCTR-1

To gain molecular insights into OCTR-1-dependent longevity responses to temperatures, we employed RNA-seq to compare gene expression in young and old wild-type and octr-1(ok371) animals propagated at different temperatures (15°C, 20°C and 25°C). Overall design: Five replicates of eight groups of RNA samples (young and old wild-type and octr-1(ok371) animals propagated at 15°C, 20°C or 25°C) were collected and subjected to RNA-seq analysis.
