To screen some interferon-stimulated genes (ISGs) that can be induced by interferon alpha (IFN alpha) to inhibit HBV replication, we infected HepG2-sodium taurocholate co-transporting polypeptide (HepG2-NTCP) cells with 500 geq/cell of hepAD38 derived hepatitis B virus (HBV) inocula and treated the cells with or without IFN alpha and sent for RNA-sequencing (RNA-seq).
