Single isolate sequencing of Priestia megaterium and Streptomyces lydicus after in situ adaptive evolution in soil

In this study, Priestia megaterium and Streptomyces lydicus were both exposed to several different farm soils in situ for up to two years while contained in an isolation chip-type device. Whole genome sequencing was conducted after three months and ten months to track genomic changes in the evolving populations.
