Evaluation of the effect of dietary fat derived from Hermetia illucens larvae added in broiler chicken diets on cecal microbiome compared to commonly used dietary fats in poultry nutrition

The dataset includes results from an in vivo experiment conducted on broiler chickens, randomly assigned to 8 experimental groups. The birds were fed diets containing fat from Hermetia illucens larvae, soybean oil, rapeseed oil, palm oil, palm fatty acid distillate, poultry fat, pig lard, and beef tallow. On the last day of the experiment (35d), biological material, i.e., cecal content was collected for next generation sequencing (NGS).Data contains a ReadMe.txt file.
