South Atlantic Microbial Diversity and Biotechnology Project (SAMDB) is a database comprising genomic and metagenomic data from South Atlantic marine microorganisms produced by the Applied Molecular Genetics group at UNIVALI and collaborators (USP, UFSC, UFRGS, Embrapa, etc). This initiative is related to Project - Bioprospection of lipolytic and cellulolytic deep-sea bacteria (ICGEB/CNPq); South Atlantic Mar-Eco studies and National Institute of Science and Technology - Mar COI research.
