Gene expression of S100a8/a9 predicts Staphylococcus aureus-induced septic arthritis in mice

To identify specific predictive biomarkers for septic arthritis, transcriptome sequencing analysis was performed on Staphylococcal aureus infected mouse RNA samples. We then evaluated differentially expressed genes from RNA-seq of Day 0, Day 2 and Day 10 samples of arthritic and non-arthritic mice. Compartive S100a8 and S100a9 gene expression analysis of RNA-seq data for Arthritis, non arthritis and control samples for different time points.
