UrbClim-HiREx simulation outputs of meter-scale heat stress in Ghent

This dataset supports the manuscript "Modeling outdoor heat stress at meter-scale resolution: validation of the UrbClim-HiREx framework", currently under review. The dataset contains hourly simulation output of the UrbClim-HiREx modeling framework for the city of Ghent (Belgium) during a heat wave from 9 to 15 June 2023. The UrbClim model output contains air temperature, specific humidity, and wind speed at 100 m spatial resolution for the city of Ghent and its surroundings. The HiREx model output contains globe temperature, wet-bulb temperature, and wet-bulb globe temperature (WBGT) at 1 m spatial resolution for the university campus Sterre at the urban fringe of Ghent.
