INSYDE-Belgium

The dataset includes the materials supporting the development of INSYDE-Belgium (INSYDE-BE), a multi-variable synthetic flood damage model for the residential sector, adapted from the original context of developement (Italy) to the Walloon Region. In detail, the dataset contains: - the summary report of the interviews with people who experienced flood events along the rivers Ourthe and Senne (surveys conducted over the period January-February 2020); - the summary table of the virtual surveys for the characterization of micro- and ultra-micro scale building features in the Walloon Region; - a report describing the damage mechanisms implemented in the model; - the R code of the developed damage functions for INSYDE-BE.
