Quality Infrastructure for Sustainable Development (QI4SD) Index

Quality Infrastructure for Sustainable Development (QI4SD) Database, produced by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), provides data on countries’ quality infrastructure systems and their role in supporting sustainable development. The database covers institutions, services, and regulatory frameworks in metrology, standardization, accreditation, and conformity assessment, along with indicators of quality infrastructure performance and its alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It enables cross-country comparison of quality infrastructure maturity, identifies capacity gaps, and supports policy planning and technical cooperation initiatives.
