This dataset contains long-term monitoring records from ecological restoration experiments conducted at degraded sites (Special Services Sites) in the Galápagos Islands, Ecuador. Data were collected as part of the Galapagos Verde 2050 (GV2050) program, which implements and evaluates restoration techniques to enhance plant survival in arid and human-disturbed environments such as quarries and former waste dumps.
The dataset comprises 19,964 records across 30 variables, including:
Site and location information: site name (Sitio.especÃfico), island, altitude, substrate type, and ecological zone.
Taxonomic information: species, genus, family, and common name of planted individuals.
Treatment and experimental design: restoration treatment applied (Tratamiento), project and subproject identifiers, planting date, initial water amount, and control codes.

## Description
This dataset contains longâterm monitoring records from ecological restoration trials implemented by the Galapagos Verde 2050 (GV2050) program at Special Services Sites (SSS: quarries, former waste dumps) in the Galápagos Archipelago, Ecuador.
