We sequenced thirteen vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP)-expressing interneurons from the mouse CA1 oriens/alveus area using patch-seq technique to determine their molecular identity. Overall design: Six neurons were recorded using patch-clamp technique, filled with biocytin for morphological identification and aspirated for next-generation sequencing. We also reanalyzed seven neurons from our previos dataset (GSM2966346-GSN2966352, GSE109755). The new analysis has focussed on the expression levels of the Htr genes.
