Stations Measurement of Ranges

The river flow monitoring network allows you to know the quantities of water that flow, in a given unit of time, through various sections identified on the main regional watercourses. The monitoring activity, started in the early twentieth century by the then Hydrographic Office of the Magistrate at the Waters of Venice on a few permanent measuring stations, has been expanded considerably in recent years by the Regional Administration, in particular to grant and control water uses and the relative releases of the respect flow for the purposes of the minimal vital outflow. There are currently more than 130 river sections where flow measurements are carried out; further expansions of the detection network with new measuring stations are expected even in a short time
