Dataset of Structural Model on Emotional Intelligence, Psychological Status, and Gender Differences among Older Adults in Northern Anhui Region

This dataset is based on the research framework of "The Relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Depressive Symptoms in Elderly People in Northern Anhui: Gender Moderation Effect", combined with actual research reports and literature statistical indicators, and constructed using simulation calibration method. The data includes the complete demographic characteristics of 360 elderly individuals (gender, age, education level, marital status, etc.) and item level scores of five psychological measurement tools: the Emotional Intelligence Scale (TMMS-24), the Depression Scale (CES-D), the Geriatric Anxiety Scale (GAI), the Life Satisfaction Scale (SWLS), and the MMSE Mini Cognitive Screening Scale. Simultaneously summarize and generate six derived variables, including scores for three emotional intelligence dimensions, total depression score, total anxiety score, and life satisfaction. The dataset is suitable for various contexts such as psychology teaching, SEM path analysis, research on elderly mental health, and practical teaching in vocational colleges.
