<p>Using an automated program to quantify macrobioerosion in three-dimensional computerized tomography (CT) scans of coral cores, macrobioerosion rates of live Porites colonies in both low-nutrient (oligotrophic) and high-nutrient (>1 µM nitrate) waters were measured across the Pacific basin.</p>
