SNCF employees with disabilities and in service on 31 December since 2010. *Following the railway reform, the dataset takes into account staff with disabilities by EPIC, without distinction of status. * “Staff members”: also referred to as “permanent staff” within SNCF, this concept refers to a statutory position, whatever the staff member’s college, in accordance with the provisions of internal directive RH 001 (“Status of collective relations between SNCF and its staff”). * "Contract staff": means a member of staff who is not covered by the Staff Regulations but who is bound to SNCF by an employment contract under ordinary law. Pursuant to [Law No 2005 – 102 of 11 February 2005](http://www.legifrance.gouv.fr/affichTexte.do?cidTexte=JORFTEXT000000809647) on equal rights and opportunities, participation and citizenship of disabled persons, in particular the provisions relating to the calculation of the obligation to employ disabled workers, the number of reporting units included in this indicator corresponds to the proportion of employees recognised as employees of Épic SNCF, according to the following three criteria: time spent in a company, working time and the duration of the validity of the recognition of a disabled worker. These data come from the Social Report published each year by SNCF's Cohesion & Human Resources Department. The social report presents the data relating to all the company’s staff with the exception of doctors who work in the field of occupational and care medicine for staff in active employment, trainees, caretakers and contract staff under contract assisted. **From 2019, the type of staff taken into account in the Social Balance Sheet has been modified: the number of staff presented is the total number of staff (and no longer the "real" number of staff).** ****____~~~~ ****____~~~****____~~~
