For the unique pharmacological effects, American ginseng (Panax quinquefolium L.) is considered as a much valuable herb crop in China. The stain XJFL-1 was isolated from diseased plants of root rot. It was found that can cause root rot of American ginseng by pathogenicity test. Getting entire genome sequences, we can do further study about management.
