Climate analysis

Climate change poses a new challenge to settlement development. Against this background, the current (as of 2020) and future (future 2060) climatic situation for the canton of Solothurn was modelled nationwide (climate analysis). The model results and the resulting climate analysis and planning reference maps (together: Climate maps) provide information about the climatic situation: Where are the hot spots in the settlement area? Which green spaces and open spaces are important for cold air production?
