YS Employment Outlook Survey 2024

Since 2009 the Confederation of Vocational Unions (YS) has worked together with the Work Research Institute (AFI) to create this survey. Through the years the YS Employment Outlook Survey has become one of the most important tools to measure status and developmental trends in the Norwegian workforce. With assistance from the researchers at AFI the current situation is explained, trends are analyzed and attempts to predict the future are made.

There can be no sure conclusions about how the conditions in the workforce currently are or how it will be, but through this survey it is possible to both look at the development as a whole and study the details. The survey places old and new knowledge into a system, making it possible to view the workforce from å fresh perspective and see connections that were hidden previously. For YS and its member associations the survey provides new opportunities to assess their needs and experiences.
