Multi-species transcriptome of plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR)

There are microorganisms known as plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR), that are normally found in soil and interact with plants through their roots. In this work, a multispecies inoculum of PGPR bacteria was designed, which included fixed nitrogen strains such as Rhizobium phaseoli, Sinorhizobium americanum and Azospirillum brasilense, as well as other bacteria that promote the growth of plants such as Bacillus subtillis and Methylobacterium extorquens. The main objective of this work is to analyze the gene expression of R. phaseoli grown in the presence of corn, as well as in the presence of other bacteria in a multispecies inoculum.
