Zonarol inhibits NO production without any effects on the survival of cultured RAW264.7 cells after LPS stimulation.

A) Cell survival. RAW264.7 cells were incubated for 24 h with the various combinations of zonarol and LPS, as indicated in the figure. The cell viability was determined using the MTT assay. Note that there were no significant differences in the viability of any of the treated cells compared to the normal or positive control cells. B) NO production. The LPS-induced NO production was inhibited by zonarol in a dose-dependent manner in RAW264.7 cells.
