PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vegetable fiber bundle containing hemicellulose， lignin and a resin component around a cellulose fiber and having excellent functionality such as dispersibility and strength， which is obtained from various reproducible natural plant resources. SOLUTION: Plant resources are subjected to heat-treatment such as sulfite (sulfite salt) digestion， craft (sulfate salt) digestion， alkali digestion， hot water steam-cooking and the like to thereby obtain a vegetable fiber bundle containing 5 to 80 wt.% of lignin， 1 to 50 wt.% of a resin component and 15 wt.% or less of pentosan based on a cellulose weight.
