Datasets for the article titled: Enhanced drug screening of colon and pancreatic cancer mul-ticellular spheroids using long-term culture and multi-round exposure to 5-fluorouracil (submitted for publication)<br>From two colorectal cancer and two pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma cell lines, matched 2D and 3D spheroid cultures were grown and assessed for response to chemotherapy agent, 5-fluorouracil. Brightfield and fluorescent images were used to monitor response by growth inhibition and viability staining.
