Accurate PSF-fitting photometry of 300 sq.deg around the Galactic centre

The Milky Way Bulge PSF Photometry provides a comprehensive census of the stellar popula- tions in the inner ~ 300 deg2 of the Galaxy. It is based on observations obtained with the near-IR imager VIRCAM mounted at the VISTA telescope as part of the ESO public survey VISTA Variables in the Via Lactea (VVV, ESO programme 179.B-2002). With a limiting magnitudes Ks~20 and J~21, this new photometric compilation allows to characterize the evolved and un-evolved stellar population of the Milky Way bulge over most its extension.
