beta proteobacterium SCGC AAA027-C02
收藏资源简介:
High-resolution temporal and spatial dynamics of microbially-mediated carbon processing revealed though time-series metagenomics in freshwater lakes. Aquatic environments are highly diverse and dynamic, with seasonal cycles driven by factors such as water column thermal structure, precipitation patterns, storm intensity, and dissolved organic carbon (DOC) mobility. We will follow changes in the functional and phylogenetic composition of natural freshwater communities to examine how these changes are associated with intra-annual environmental variations. Samples and associated environmental data were selected to compare two lakes that differ in their size and carbon cycling characteristics. These single cell genomes were generated as reference datasets to interpret the metagenomic datasets from the two lakes.
