资源简介:
Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection began in Wuhan, China in December 2019 and rapidly spread around the world causing a disease called the Corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The first case of COVID-19 was detected in the Kenyan Coast in 21st March 2020. Since then KEMRI-Wellcome Trust Research Programme has been the main testing site for the Coastal part of Kenya. Prior to testing, each participant was required to fill a case investigation form (CIF) which was later used in generating our datasets. The first dataset: 1) "Combined_Covid_EpiDataset" contains the characteristics of each of the 100665 cases and has been used to describe the Epidemiology of SARS-CoV-2 infections by describing the age, gender, prevalence of infections and the proportion of symptomatic and asymptomatic cases. The second dataset: "Covid_serodataset" containing 2458 observations was used to describe monthly Sero-epidemiology of individuals who were either SARS-CoV-2 positive or negative at the time of testing. Note: this dataset contains counties that are outside the Coastal part of Kenya which have been filtered off in the code
