Human iPS cells, in which ALK is overexpressed in a doxycycline-dependent manner, were differentiated into nephrons. Following the addition of doxycycline, RNA-seq analysis was performed over time. The study analyzed the impact of ALK on kidney differentiation and the early mechanisms of carcinogenesis.
