Share of mountain tourist arrivals globally 2022

When surveyed between July and December 2022, 10 percent of respondents answered that mountain tourism brought in more than 60 percent of tourism arrivals in the country in which they were based. Meanwhile, 28 percent of those who participated in the global survey said that less than five percent of tourists visited their countries because of mountain tourism.
