Wind wave spectra and other data were collected at fixed platforms in Gulf of Mexico, East/West Coast US, South Pacific Ocean, and Great Lakes from October 1, 2000 to October 31, 2000. Data were submitted by the NOAA National Data Buoy Center (NDBC) using moored buoy casts at those fixed locations.
