Multiscale Modelling of Large Biomass-Fuelled Cement Pre-Calciners

This thesis studies biomass burning and the sticking together of fine particles in cement production, and how these processes affect temperature, reactions, and emissions. It develops a model that improves prediction accuracy in industrial systems. The model can be used to optimise industrial operation and design, supporting low-carbon cement production.
