资源简介:
Port Arthur local downscaled climate data including frequency, duration, and intensity of events like heatwave, and extreme precipitation. Data were downscaled from 22 global climate models to 1/16th degree spatial resolution and represent the years 1950-2100. This dataset includes time series of annually averaged values for heating and cooling degree days, longest heatwave, days above 100F, and the wettest 3 days (assuming no greenhouse gas reduction efforts). Also included are the annual averages for seasonal and annual heating and cooling, minimum and maximum temperatures, and precipitation. This is one of a suite of four related datasets addressing climate impacts in the Port Arthur, Texas, region. The other datasets are D1.x979.000:0001 (sea level and storm surge impacts, https://doi.org/10.7266/mwbj8s5v), D1.x979.000:0003 (environmental, energy, and demographic datasets, https://doi.org/10.7266/47z4zxjx), and D1.x979.000:0004 (community questionnaire responses, https://doi.org/10.7266/6zs6cmx7).
