Groundwater Protection Areas (Original Regulation)

This stock contains groundwater protection zones as laid down in the Environmental Ordinance of the Province of Groningen. In this Environmental Ordinance, we have included rules for thisFundamental Water Protection Areas consist of three separate, separate elements: — Groundwater protection zones (formerly groundwater protection areas)- Drinking water areas- Areas with a prohibition of physical soil degradationRound drinking water extraction (Onnen-De Punt, Sellingen, Bellingwolde) are groundwater protection areas. Activities that may deteriorate the quality of groundwater are prohibited here. This also applies to the area and banks along the Drentsche Aa around and upstream from the intake point (just across the border in the province of Drenthe) of the drinking water abstraction in the Drentsche Aa.
