资源简介:
To comprehensively study gene expression in mice stimulated with or without food odor, RNA-seq analysis was conducted in the hypothalamus, epididymal white adipose tissue (eWAT), small intestine (gut), soleus muscle, liver, and pancreas of C57BL/6J mice after 60 min of food odor exposure during fasting for 24 h. Differentially expressed genes of the RNA-seq data between the odor-stimulated and non-stimulated (control) mice were identified using integrated Differential Expression and Pathway (iDEP). Based on the principal component analysis, the data showed the olfactory stimulation caused alteration of gene expression primarily in the skeletal muscle, eWAT, and pancreas compared to none-stimulated (control) mice.
