A newly developed and more environmentally friendly cathode material (LiNi0.8Fe0.1Mn0.1O2, NFM811) has been successfully synthesized. The proposed experiment is dedicated to elucidating the dynamic alterations in the oxidation state of the Fe element during the cycling process, utilizing synchrotron Mössbauer Spectroscopy. We aspire to deepen our understanding of the charge compensation mechanism within this material.
