Fermented grape seed meal promotes broiler growth and reduces abdominal fat deposition through intestinal microorganisms

The grape seed meal was used as the research object to prepare biological feed by the method of bacterial enzyme co-digestion. The nutritional characteristics of fermented grape seed meal were studied from the perspective of small molecular metabolome by non-targeted metabolomics. The effect of grape seed meal on intestinal health and growth performance of broilers was evaluated by evaluating the diversity of intestinal microbial flora, composition of flora and short-chain fatty acids, a small molecule metabolite co-metabolized by host and microorganisms, and providing the basis and guidance for the in-depth development and utilization of grape seed meal, healthy breeding of livestock and poultry and the production of green products in geogenic feeds in Xinjiang.
