The data contains the algorithms for generating the data of fluid-fluid displacement processes in porous media.<b>ModifiedInvasionPercolation_cyclic.rar</b>: the modified invasion percolation algorithm for simulating cyclic immiscible displacement processes. Trapping is by default enabled. The run-time pore filling pressure is updated according to the pore coupling coefficient.<i>Run demo_1stInjection.m and then </i><i>demo_2ndInjection.m for a demonstration. More cycles can be simulated by alternately calling these two functions.</i><b>ITA_multiphase-main.rar</b>: This interface tracking algorithm (ITA) simulates immiscible fluid-fluid displacement processes in two-dimensional porous media in the quasi-static (capillary-dominated) regime under different wetting conditions (controlled by the contact angle).<i>Run "main_demo.m" for a demonstration.</i>For more details, please refer to the manuscript "Saturation hysteresis during cyclic injections of immiscible fluids in porous media: an invasion percolation study".The pore-resolved interface tracking algorithm is also available at https://github.com/spoonacular/ITA_multiphase.
