Serum levels of heat shock protein 90 (Hsp90) in patients with atopic dermatitis and healthy controls

This dataset contains the levels of Hsp90 measured in serum of atopic dermatitis (AD) (n=29) patients and healthy donors (n=70) by a commercially available ELISA kit. The numbers in dataset are concentrations of Hsp90 expressed as ng per ml. Hsp90 was evaluated in serum by commercially available HSP90α (human) ELISA kit (ADI-EKS-895; Enzo Life Science), following the manufacturer’s instructions. Serum samples were diluted 1:25 (v/v) appropriately in Sample Diluent. Optical density measurements were performed at 450 nm with an ELISA plate reader (VICTOR Multilabel Plate Reader, PerkinElmer). The assay was performed at the Department of Molecular Biology, University of Gdańsk, Poland.Sera collection of AD patients and healthy donors belong to Department of Dermatology, Venerology and Allergology, Medical University of Gdańsk, Poland and Department of Molecular Biology, University of Gdańsk, Poland, respectively. Parameters of the kit:Sensitivity:     50 pg/ml (range 62.5 - 4,000 pg/ml) Wavelength:  450 nm Species reactivity:     Human Crossreactivity: HSP90α (100%). No reactivity with HSP90β, Grp94, HSP60, or HSP70 (HSP72).
