The biotope type and land use mapping (btlnk) offers, comparable nationwide, up-to-date statements on biotope types and land use on the basis of an interpretation key specifically geared to questions of nature and landscape conservation. The vector data of the btlnk show the landscape design of the years 1992/93 and 2005 in the Free State of Saxony. The data from 1992/93 are based on a CIR flight in the summer of 1992 and complementary in May 1993. The data from 2005 are adapted to the CIR orthophotographs from the 2005 flight. The btlnk is a comprehensive database with area, line and point geometries.
