Immuhistochemical analyses of lipid droplets and metabolic factors in the BTBR mouse model of autism placenta
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains the underlying raw and processed data for the characterization of the mid-gestation (12.5 days post coitum) placenta in the BTBR T+ Itpr3tf/J mouse model. The study utilizes high-resolution 3D confocal microscopy to examine the spatial distribution of lipid droplets, the phospholipase PLA2G4E, and histone modifications (H3K9bu and H3K4me3) across distinct placental compartments. The results identify a strain-specific metabolic-epigenetic profile, particularly localized within trophoblast giant cells, which may serve as a foundational indicator for altered neurodevelopmental trajectories. The provided Dataset Summary Table offers a consolidated view of all quantitative measurements extracted from our image analysis pipeline, including lipid droplet volumetric data, field fluorescence intensities, and single-nuclei relative intensity values across all placental compartments. To ensure full technical transparency, we have included representative raw confocal stacks in .nd2 format, which contain the original multi-channel 3D signals for BODIPY 493/503, PLA2G4E, H3K9bu, and H3K4me3. These are complemented by representative Imaris (.ims) files that illustrate the specific 3D segmentation, surface generation, and thresholding masks used to derive our parameters.
